She'd been dropping hints for months that what she needed was some alone time, just the two of you-away from the job, away from the neighborhood, away from the kids. Not that she doesn't love them more than anything in the world, but when you pulled up to this little cabin in the big woods, you could see the cares of the world start to drain away from her face like water from a bathtub. One tub that won't be drained this weekend, however, is the hot tub on the deck, and there's also a heart-shaped whirlpool tub off the bedroom. No distractions-just cozy evenings in front of the fireplace and serene daytime hours spent rocking on the deck and gazing out into the quiet woods and toward the mountains beyond. You might even drive over to Forbidden Caverns, just for fun; after all, being inside of one is about as close to a mountain as you can get.
