What is it about a sunset that brings everyone together? Everybody seemed to go there own separate ways throughout the day; there was the morning at Rainforest Adventure in Sevierville and the matinee at Country Tonite Theater in Pigeon Forge and all the outlet-mall shopping. Back at this magnificent showplace of a mountain lodge, however, there were signs that this large extended family might actually find some common ground. You had the women whipping up a monstrous family meal in the kitchen, while the kids flitted back and forth between the game room and the movie going on the big screen TV. The men conveniently hid themselves away out on the sprawling decks, looking out over Wears Valley and the Smoky Mountains from this Wilderness Mountain ridge-top. But when the sun went down, everybody magically wound up on the three decks and agreed that the view was worth every penny.
