Work hard, play hard. That's your family's motto. You and your siblings and all your spouses have put in extra hours at work and sacrificed for months, and now your reward to yourselves is a week at this timber castle in the
Great Smoky Mountains. There are 24 of you, kids and all, but this
six-bedroom showplace has been more than capable of doing the job. With views of beautiful hilly, wooded landscapes filling its windows, Wild Turkey Lodge has proven to be gracious and accommodating. The living and dining areas are spacious and beautiful-a living portrait of your someday dream home. Meanwhile, with king and queen beds throughout, no one has had to kick and claw for mattress territory at night. However, you weren't on the property long before the hard playing got underway. It started with steaks and burgers out on the charcoal grill, followed by a short drive into Pigeon Forge to see the
celebrity music tributes at Memories Theatre. Then it was back to the lodge for some heavy pool, foosball and air hockey tournament action in the game room. The good news for those who played hard was that nine televisions, six whirlpool tubs, an outdoor hot tub and two fireplaces were all waiting to help everyone wind down. Work, hard, play hard, relax to the max-that's your new motto.
